Cork Printmakers has launched its new and much enhanced website, which offers a range of improved features, including better navigation as well as clear and concise information about our activities. We have introduced user-friendly tools such as downloadable booking and application forms. You can join our mailing list enabling you to be one of the first to learn about our evening and weekend courses, events and exhibitions. You can also fill out a simple questionnaire which will tell us how to better inform you of our activities in the future. Our Artists section is now greatly enhanced presenting a selection of work and a short biography from each artist. We hope the information, tools and visual appeal of our website gives you a more enjoyable and informative experience. The site has been designed by Cork-based design company Rocketmedia.

Where the Clouds and Sea Meet, an exhibition of new paintings and prints by Cork Printmakers' member Eileen Kennedy, opened on 10 July at the Samhlaiocht Gallery, Lower Castle St., Tralee. The work is influened by Chinese calligraphy and Taoist philosophy. Exhibition runs until Friday 1 August. www.samhlaiocht.com
Cuba Obscura, an exhibition of work by Cork Printmakers' member Brian Barry opened on Sunday 13 July as the inaugural exhibition of Kinsale Pottery & Arts Centre. The exhibition, which is included in the programme of Kinsale Arts Week, features a series of pinhole photographs taken on a trip to Cuba, which the artist printed as photo etchings. The Kinsale Pottery & Arts Centre is located on the road to Cappagh leaving Kinsale. The Gallery also features work by another Cork Printmakers' member, Michael O Donovan. www.kinsaleceramics.com

Wendy Dison has had three pieces selected for BIMPE V which opened on 3 June at the Federation Gallery, Granville Island. The exhibition is currently showing at the Dunarave Print Workshop. www.bimpe.com
