The Residency
The residency includes 24/7 workshop access for up to six weeks. Artists are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, expenses, materials, etc. Cork Printmakers can recommend reasonable accommodation in the area. In return the successful applicant must give a talk to Cork Printmakers members about their work and also give a print demonstration.
The programme is intended to provide opportunities for artists to research and develop their own practice, to explore ideas and work processes in a new environment and to improve international networks. It is open to artists of all nationalities working through print media.

Criteria
Applicants must be capable of demonstrating excellent knowledge of a minimum of one print process. A third level qualification in fine art printmaking is preferable, but other qualifications and experience are also considered.
A minimum of six samples of your most recent work, in CD ROM, DVD, Photographs, which demonstrate technical ability and creative aptitude, should be included. Two professional references must also be included along with a current CV and artists statement.
Applications are considered throughout the year. Please leave a minimum of eight weeks for your application to be processed and to receive notification by post. Successful applicants must accept the offer in writing.
All supporting documentation must be correctly labelled. Be selective with material submitted and make your application clear and concise. You may include additional information with your application if necessary.
